16 hardy folk turned up on Sunday. The weather started overcast and mild but the keen wind soon brought in some unwanted moisture! After a couple of convoys to the parking area the members were released into the wild at 9.00am and some nice bits and pieces surfaced, mostly medieval and Tudor silver coins but also a later commemorative medallion of George V, ironic when we are in his daughters 70th year.
